DRUMMOND DESIGNS MARKS ITS 15TH YEAR IN SHERBROOKE | |
Sherbrooke, Quebec, Tuesday, January 31, 2007 - Drummond Designs inc., the Canadian leader in residential architecture, is pleased to hail the significant contribution by its Sherbrooke staff, which is marking its 15th year in this region of the province. More than 2,600 projects, including 600 modification plans, 1,200 renovation and 600 personalized plans have been developed on the Sherbrooke agency's drawing boards since the branch office opened in 1992. Comparatively, over this 1992-2006 span, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) statistics in this same category for the Sherbrooke census metropolitan area, comprising the municipalities/boroughs of Sherbrooke, Lennoxville, Deauville, Ascot, Bromptonville, Fleurimont, Rock Forest and Saint-Elie-d'Orford, indicate 6,021 individual dwelling units were built. This clearly illustrates the significant contribution made by Drummond Designs in the rejuvenation of the real-estate sector in the greater Sherbrooke region. « Drummond Designs growth in the Quebec market, predominantly since the early 1990s, is mainly due to its ability to respond to the needs and expectations of its clients from an architectural design standpoint, » remarked Yves Carignan, the CEO of Drummond Designs. « The Sherbrooke agency has made a considerable contribution to this success, both in the new-housing, as well as the renovation sector. » Change in managerial ranks « After working for more than 30 years in the architectural design industry, joining up with the Drummond Designs' team is a great opportunity to cater to local entrepreneurs and anyone wanting to get their project done, making sure that it responds to all of their needs, » said Mr. Houle.
